Alright, I think I want to give seahorses a go
. I have been in the saltwater hobby for almost 20 years but have yet to give them a shot. Also being in the hobby for so long I have LOTS of extra stuff lying around. I have a few different tanks in my garage that I'm trying to decide between. One is an Oceanic 30 cube and the other is a perfecto 56g column tank. I'm leaning more toward the thirty cube. What does everyone else think? I havn't decided on which horses I will keep yet (still researching). Niether tank is drilled and I would probably run a HOB skimmer and a canister filter. I want to keep it as simple as possible.

simple is good with horses. Either would work. The taller the better. If you only wany one pair - then the 30, if you want 2 pair then go with the bigger one. Just be sure to only buy captive bred not tank raised.
Mine is a 58 gal.

Main reason I'm leaning toward the thirty is I like the stand better. I guess I could build another stand for the perfecto tank. Its really great demensions 30"x18.5"x24". I originally got that tank about a year and a half ago with the intensions on making a seahorse tank. I just had to many projects at the time.

I would go with that tank. That way you could also have a few gobies along with your horses.
Take a look at the first three threads in this section. It might help some.
