I have been debating on what I should do, help me out...
I started a thread about the nitrate issue I always have and wanted to buy a denitrator since I tend to slack on my water changes. should I save my 400 bucks and just do a water change every month? seems easier since I would have to save up for the denitrator..
what do you all think? and its a 180g system so how many gallon water changes should i do?
steady water changes or save up for a denitrator.
( I know the answer is kinda obvious but if I get the advice it will motivate me, WC's arent the funnest thing to do...
)

NO, they are not fun, but with the right equipment they take a few minutes...SAVE the money and do regular w/c's......Maintain the tank the right way, not the lazy way

If you do weekly, i would do 20-25g's per week

If I had your money I would buy a Deltec Nitrate Filter and pay someone else to do the 10% wc.

Just don't do them at all, personally I think they are over rated. I have had many different aquariums over the years and very rarely did water changes. My best friend has an awesome tank that he hasn't done a water change in over 5 years.
