White bugs after feeding

i have a 56 column tank with live rock, inverts, and a couple fish. after i fed them last night i noticed a lot of white spots on the glass and floating throughout the water. if you look closely, some are moving around on the glass quickly and on the top of the water. there are a couple of these attached to one of the fish. the tank is full of this. is it ick or something else. i didn't think ick would multiply that fast and be noticeable througout the tank without covering the fish first. i noticed this a little while after i put some liquid food in the tank. could this liquid have any small living things in it for the anemones and coral? thank you for your help

the rock says...
they come from the live rock, they are perfectly fine and beneficial to your reef if their numbers are kept in check which is often done by the fish in your tank. they are waste scavengers and will mulitply like crazy when a lot of waste is present in your tank
