I have some lace rock in my 46 gallon tank that is on the fifth day of the cycle. One of these rocks is mostly covered with a white "cob webby" substance (forgive the techincal terminomolgy 
). It looks kind of encapsulated. There is one small spot on another rock. It does not appear to have gotten on any of the live rock.
BTW I started the cycle with a cocktail shrimp. The same looking substance appeared on it after a day and a half in the tank.
Any ideas on what this might be?
