white crusty stuff on the glass, what could it be

I have some white things on the glass of my aquarium. I tried to move it off and it crusty, breaking off. what is it and how to get rid of it.

does they look like this?

Tiny white dots about the size of a pinhead can be found in reef tanks, overflow boxes , and sumps. They are Spirorbid Worms, which are filter feeders. It won't hurt to scrape them off if they obstuct your view, but they are harmless. Reef-safe.

IMO from wat u have said it sounds like salt deposits from evaporating water that has just built up.
My tank has only been running for 2-3 weeks and i already have little bits building up.

i say this assuming that it is on the outside of the tank and not in the water, other wise it will be little critters.

yes ratpack they look somewhat like that. I've tried scaping them off but the seem to stick back on the the glass. They're mostly on the back inside glass, power heads
