White Hitchhiker in back of jbj nanocube

Okay I was cleaning my tank and found a rather odd bunch of tubed sponge organisms in where the pumps are. I looked everywhere for this and cannot find it. I am new to the hobby and have been doing this for only about 1.5 years. Any help identifing these things would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Those are pineapple sponges. They are good hitch hikers.

Thank you for your help! I was having trouble finding it to learn about it. Are they typically found in newer tanks??

They tend to go crazy in the first few months. They use a lot of silicate. Once the silicate levels are lower their numbers go down.
