white organisms on glass?

I have been watching whitish clear organisms on my glass and there seem to be more now. My take is empty b/c i have my fish in a Q tank with ick. I have live sand and LR and mushrooms. These things are about 2 mm long and oval shaped. they have tenticle like legs all around their body allowing them to move on the class what are these? And are they bad?
Also i have some a couple inch long oval shaped things on the class that are shaped like a T-pe and hare striped going out from the center. Thanks.

these are pods, and a good thing. they are a sign of a healthy tank.

yes, it is a slow process, you need something like a sponge in the tank with pods, they will live in the sponge and then move the sponge to another tank
