Looked through the disease thread and coulden't find a match.
I looks more like a faded spot, but it is fairly white in color.
I have had this coral beauty for 5 days. I did not notice the white spot till the day after I got him home. I don't think it was there at the LFS.
I don't yet have a QT.
She is active and eating well. I am feeding New Life Spectrum pellets, frozen mysis shrimp, Red marine alge, and dwarf angle frozen cubes.
The tank is 1yr old, 32gal with 10gal sump. Stock I have 2 false percula clowns, dragon goby, 2 pepermint shrimp a tuxedo euchant, zebra hermit, a cleaner shrimp that seems to have dissapeared haven't seen in a week, and snails.
And a two bunches of zoo's. One of the bunches has been closed up for a week and the other is fine.
Tank levels a good, ph is a little high for some reason
Salinity .025
Temp 79
ph 8.43
Nitrate 0
Nitrite .25
Ammonia inbetween 0 and .25
Alkalinity 2.86meq/L
Calcium 350

The issues that scare me is that you have trace levels of nitrite and ammonia, 2 things that can be toxic to fish.
Correct me if I am wrong, but is that a spot or is it more like a cottony growth?

It is a spot, a faded spot level with the skin.
How do I get rid of the trace levels of nitrite and ammonia?
I added fresh carbon thursday night.
