I have a 75 gallon fish only tank without liverock which currently holds an a Powder Blue Tang and a Maculosus Angelfish. The angel seems to have white spots on him but they're not the typical spots I've seen with ick outbreaks (and believe me, I've had plenty!) They seem to be larger and more distinct and they're aren't very many. I know that with ick it usually breaks out all over after a few days and that hasn't happened. Also, my powder blue has blotches on his finds and some spots that seem to be white spot but I want to know how he can still have ick after a period of almost 3 months with a salinity at 1.008. All the other fish are fine with the salinity but it still seems that some type of "thing" is reaking havoc in my tank. Also the fish don't exhibit the typical signs of ick such as constant scratching and they're given a daily dose of garlic-soaked flakes. What could be going on here, and what do I need to do to fix it?
