White Spots in Tang???

I'm new to this hobby so I have no clue what this is. I have a Blue Regal Tang and it has had one to two white spots come and go, but now it has like 7 or 8 white spots. What is it and what do I do to get rid of it??

What are the size of these spots? Are they like dots that look like salt sprinkled on the fish, or are they bigger. Describe more and tell us the location of the spots.
Also, to recommend a treatment, we will need to know what type tank you have, fish only, reef, live rock, etc and whether you can place the sick fish in a separate hospital tank.

It looks like salt sprinkled on its head and fins. I have a 55 gal. FO tank with a gold striped maroon clown and a coral banded shrimp. This is the only tank I have, So there is no where else to put it.
