White Spots on Coraline Algee?

Just a question!. My 55gal has been running for 7 months. I have live rock that has purple coralline but noticed white spots growing on it. Is this normal?
Also, I heard red coralline is not normal. I have red spots and red coralline I believe. It is hard,can not wipe/blown off and if scraped, crumbles. Just checking with the pros....
Before I get beat-up....I am changing my background to a solid black! Thanks for any help. Salinity is 1.023 ,o nItes and I changed a regular florescence light to a Power-glo 18000k. Lights on for 6 hours

i have some rock thats just like that some times it gets little spots and gets white in some areas then it goes away im not sure if its a cycle of it but mine always goes away

Good to hear that someoene else had good experience with thiss and is ok... If it is dying am I doing something wrong with the lighting?
