White spots on glass?

hi everyone,
does anyone know what the white spotes on the glass are?
i just noticed them last night and they were on most of the glas surfaces, im sure i would have noticed it before its like the appeared within hours. At first i thought the glass was dirty but then i noticed that they crawl around and not because of the current, they crawl in different directions.
my snails cant eat them because they move out of the way (then again not sure if they would eat them if they could).
i just added 5 false perculas last week, 1 died within 18 hours
, looked kind of pale in his last couple of hours but no sign of any spots. The other four look fine and eat fine, no visible problems. :help:

ohh cool those are what copepods are.... hey.... are they hitchhikers or how do you get em?

Theyre small crustaceans that come on liverock and live sand. They are very good to have. Im sure you should soon being seeing many other little hitchhikers
When I first started my tank I would sit in front of my tank for hours looking at all the new life popping in and out of the rocks.
