Hello all, I have been observing your threads for several days now and I need some help. My coral beauty has white spots and is starting to act funny. It looks like the slime they produce but, I don't know what to do to fix it. My water quality is good. Any help appreciated.

The spots on my coral beauty do look like salt sprinkles. I added some new items to the tank about two weeks ago. This is in a 29 gallon mini reef with an eclipse 3 top. white and blue lights - high color spectrum. 25 lbs live sand - 20 lbs live rock - several soft corals - golden headed sleeper goby - scissortail goby - blue damsel - pj cardinal - 10 bluelegs- sally lightfoot - serpent star
not sure if cb is producing too much slime - not clouding eyes or anything like that

I have had the coral beauty for about a month now and the aquarium is about 4 1/2 months old. The cb is moving sluggishly and the fins look as if they are a little bit frayed. I also have a coral banded shrimp. forgot about that one. If I set up a qt, do I have to cycle the tank or just use some of my water?
