White spots

It seems that I have some small white spots on some of my LR. I also had two clams to fall off and open up. What could this be?

I don't have a pix yet, I was thinking die off also. I'm not having a problem with anything else. My fish and cleaners are ok. I checked the water and the readings are normal.

The white specks might be Spirorbidae worms, what kind of clams?

I'm not sure what type of clams they are. they came on the LR
