white stuff on my rocks?

I just noticed that I have alot of white stuff looks like sand on my rocks. I dont have any live rocks they are just plain rocks.I dont know what this is. I have been fighting ich in my tank with Kent Rxp but dont know if this ich or something else? So know I question if I actually have ich or if its this?It is also on the shell of my hermit crab?

I am not sure exactly what your problem is (a pic would help) but it is definately not ich. Ich is a parasite and therefor only lives on fish so it will not grow on your rock or hermit shells.

is it on top or bottom, or all over the rock. i have white stuff on the bottom of a lot of my rock, always have todd

It is probably just dust from things boring into the rock or some marine mold. I wouldn't worry about either really. If it is mold it will go away on its own and won't harm the livestock unless they are already immunocompromised.
