White Tube Worms (Feather Dusters)

My 125g has been up and running over 4 years. Just in the last month or so white tube worms are growing out of the sand and on some of the rock. My questions are is this a good thing or should I find a way to stop them. They don't look bad, but I was just wondering if this is a sign of something?

IMO, it is a sign of a healthy enviornment. They are filter feeders and will not get any larger. They are cool to have. I have about 50 on one rock. :hilarious

Yes they will arnt they cool. You can probably turn the rocks over and stir the sand a little if you don't want them but why wouldn't you want them
