Whitecheek stung by Foxface

Not really sure, but I beleive that my foxface may have stung my whitecheek tang. When I was home at lunch all inhabitants looked fine. When I got home from work the tang was laying on his side breathing very hard, and it looked as though he wasn't going to make it. He was having problems swimming. I noticed a couple of spots that looked abnormal on his side. The whitecheek used to be the boss in the tank, but lately the foxface has gotten bigger, and has been standing his ground against the whitecheek. I was going to move the whitecheek, but now he's back to normal and swimming just fine. Any ideas or suggestions?

Could well be aggression. Look at the "wound" area real close with a magnifying glass to see if you can actually see punctures.
At this point, I would keep a really close eye on the tank to see if you notice aggression.

After I noticed the problem with the whitecheek, I could see what appeared to be a punture wound. He's back to normal now, and it appears that the wound is healing. Should I move him to q-tank, and treat with antibiotics to be safe? He appears fine swimming, and eating normally. The wound looks as if it's getting better.

Just keep an eye out for now. Make sure the fish is getting varied and quality food. You might try adding Zoecon to the food as well.

I feed a wide variety of foods. They get pellets with zoe in the morning, and frozen foods that I alternate soaking between garlic, and zoe every evening.
