Greetings. I have a Biocube 14 (Coralife) that I have set up. I am curious if the whiteish hue that is being given off on this take is normal, or if something can be done to reduce it. Is it a function of the LED lights that I upgraded to? I have had the water tested at my fish store, and the levels are all perfect. Is it just the acrylic?
Here is what I am running in this tank:
LED Lights (Blue and White) You you only see the blue in the photo...the white are in the lid.
50 W Heater
Standard Biocube Filter cartridge, and bio balls
Additional Carbon Insert
I have three turbo snails in the tank as well.
If it is the acrylic, any ways to polish this so its clearer? I realize that this is a beginner tank, and as such the quality is comensurate.
Appreciate any suggestions you have.
