OK, one damsel of the 8 is now gone.....
A little history here....
Friday night purchased grouper, lion and rock beauty angel (along with fireshrimp, just to see if I could keep him.
LFS said Rock Beauty wouldnt eat krill... well, she does. She goes for that right off the bat and pretty much eats as much as the grouper.
FIRESHRIMP was munched sometime during the night Friday night or early Saturday. It was nuzzeled between some tight spaces that only the angel could fit into (at least I think).. shrimp was eaten, but not whole. When I was taking out the carcass, the angel ran by and took a nibble.. so is the angel the culprit when it comes to the shrimp?
now...
for the damsel... this evening I notice that the damsel is *POOF* gone.. it was the weakling of the bunch that I have been trying to catch forever...
who ate him the grouper or the lion? The grouper eats krill (2 to 3 pieces) a day until he wont eat anymore.. so I am assuming he is full and the lion ate the damsel and the remaining part of the fireshrimp that I stuck down into a tight spot in the coral he hangs out next to. The lion hasn't eaten what I have offered him from the feeder stick since we brought him home.. so did he eat the damsel and the rest of the shrimp that I think the angel started eating?
AND if so, is he going to wipe out all of the damsels before he eats from the stick?
