My two sand sifting stars have lived happily for two years. Last week I received an order from saltwaterfish.com which included blue and red legged hermits, emerald crabs, coral shrimp, snails, two brittle stars, etc. Today, I noticed one of my sand sifting stars is missing two legs(arms). The only possible culprit, in my opinion, would be one of the brittle stars. Are they known for eating other starfish?
