I KNOW this is all my fault (lesson learned) for over-stocking my tank... I'm NEW to this.
Yesterday I noticed my Royal Gramma's Tail was very ratty. It looked like she was being nipped. I reluctantly removed the two little yellow-tail damsels into my new 50 gal tank. (They are fine). This morning 1/2 of the yellow-tail end of the Gramma was gone, her side fins were rotted away (or something)... It looked like she was being eaten alive.
Would the Purple Tang have nipped her? Could it have been a disease that the Tang brought in? The Tang and the two Percula clowns are fine. (They are the only ones in the 20 gal. now). Could the LR that I added have some sort of creature or disease in the crevices the RG hid in? (That the clowns are immune to?
Let me know what you think.
