Just wanted to know if anyone had a porcupine puffer in there reef tank? If so, what corals do you have with it. And how has it been

Well, whoever does is coming up on some problems. 1, the puffer will eat the inverts in your tank...so, no cleaner shrimp, hermits, etc as that is a puffers natural diet. 2. It will also chomp on your rockwork, corals, and smaller fish if it feels the need. 3. Without the cleaner crew the waste that these fish produce when eating will cause your trates to skyrocket without top notch filtration and skimming. IMO, not the fish for a reef as it is an aggressive fish and I, personally, would not attempt this. I have tried and failed even keeping these with a dog face puffer in an aggressive tank. Awesome fish, just wouldnt attempt to keep it in a reef unless you enjoy headaches and expensive meals (your inverts) just my opinion. Pufferlover, where are you? Like Vader and OB1, I can feel your presence but have yet to see, LOL!
