I have a BTA and when it moves on the mushroom rock, the shrooms shrink up from being stung. They don't die they just get real small. When it moves away, the shrooms come back to life. Right now it is in a spot where there aren't any shrooms near it. I did cut the big shrooms around it when I saw it staying put in a spot. Hope this helps.

I have an anemone with softies and am glad to say that the anemone is happy where he is and has only moved about 2" in a year's time so no conflict. My star colony is growing fast, and will soon be close to it, so I will have to watch them.

I've got a red haddoni carpet, a couple mini carpets (S. tapetum), red waratahs, and a rose BTA in tanks with corals. The mini carpets and the RBTA have touched corals with no ill effects.

Breaking all the rules.
A large Carpet.
A large Condi
probably a dozen Rock
And a Spiny Puffer to boot!
There has been times I was scared as heck when the condi and the Carpet meet up. They will sit completely intertwined for a periods of up to a week and then go sep ways with no problems.
They have both been in the tank together for a few years so I dont know if that makes any difference. Everything seems to get along in its own way.
It is not suggested but works fine for my system.

No no puffed pics, give me a few minutes and Ill take a pic.
I have a needle taped to a stick I always leave by the tank to poke him and get him to puff up to show off to friends that visit. Loads of fun but somtimes you can hear him cry from getting poked so I have to let the poke marks heal before I do it again.
Im Kidding!!!! But sure made everyone angry I bet.
No sorry,I dont have any pics of him puffed. LOL
