Who has had an anemone the longest?

I would like to get an anemone for my clowns, but I am afraid that it will just die in my tank. I have read in many Clownfish books that they are very tempermental and a majority will just die in the tank after a few months. I have metal halide lighting and a deep sand bed and I was thinking about geting an LTA.
HOW LONG HAVE YOU HAD YOUR ANEMONE?

I'd have to say in the wild it is possible, but in our tanks no.

Good point.
LOL......I have another 40 years in me than it's "St Peter, how are you?"
I'd hate to leave my daughters their dads "old reef" anyways. LOL

IMO it's possible that they can live forever even without reproducing (sexually or asexually) because they can regenerate any part of their body.
