Who makes the best powerheads?

I was wondering which company makes the best,most reliable powerheads?A rio powerhead came with my setup and I don't know if its any good? Thanks BM

Most people prefer maxijets
I have heard alot of complaints about the rios but personally don't own one.

i prefer maxi jets or hagens, have never had a problem wih one. rio on the other hand kinda hit or miss.

From what everyone tells me, Maxi-Jet has pretty high quality powerheads. I purchased a few 1200's online for $18.95 each (new). I can't post the name of the website I bought them from here, but if you e-mail me, I can tell you. I've purchased many products from this site in the past and they have great service.

i have two rio's that I bought "in the begining" when i was a chump tryin to get into saltwater.....
They have given me a few problems so i have to agree...maxijet is the better buy
