who still runs carbon on fish only tanks

want to know who still runs carbon in there filters on fish only tanks. curious if its still just as important as running it in freshwater tanks. i need to replace mine be awhile. how long does carbon last? i hard like a month- is that true?

I run carbon on my Fish only with live rock tank. It does not last a month though. It lasts at the most 2 weeks.

i run carbon too, i replace mine once a month and i rinse it on it's 2 week aniversary

i run carbon and change one a month and rinse frequently. I have fish only with live rock and sand

I run carbon constantly. In both my tanks (125 & 55) both reefs. I love the stuff and would never stop using it because both of my tanks are thriving. Sure I've lost fish here and there, but in no way was carbon a factor. I change it every three weeks. Some say change it once a month, while others say two weeks, so I split the difference.
