Who uses a reactor?

If you do have a reactor...what do you put in it? Is Phosban any good? Can you put finer media like Purigen in them?...or would the Purigen have to be in a bag? If it is in the bag...can you put the bag in the reactor? Final question. I am thinking of putting a reactor on my 120, with my wetdry it is probably closer to 130-140 gallons...if the reactor only pushes 100 gph, would it really even have an impact? Thanks in advance for any replies.

I run Phosban and i believe you should only run 90 gph or less through it.The idea is to keep it from churning in the reactor.The directions for the 3 Little Fishes reactor is to just get the top of the media bubbling. i have barely any flow running through mine .I also have a TEE split off my return pump with a valve to control flow through it to decrease equipment needed.
