I have a 46g reeftank with 0 nitrites, trates, amon. and 8.0 PH. I add calcium and Coral Vite twice per week. Temp 80 deg.
My tank had been thriving, then within the last couple weeks I have noticed none of my polyps opening anymore, including green star and a purple flume, many of which I have had over a year.
My skimmer lately has not been removing the same level of "gunk" it once had. I am cleaning tonight with hopes that this may be part of the problem.
My false percs and Lemon Peel had been in with these for a couple of month with no problem, so I cannot imagine they are contributing to the potential loss.
What am I missing??? HELP!! I feel if I do not act quickly, they will be lost for good!
