i have a bunch of hermit crabs, a large sri lankan clown, a large pijama cardinal, a large cleaner shrimp in with about 60 lbs of live rock.
the tank has been runing since march and the water is good (i do regular water changes every 2 wks as well as usual tests).
i tried adding a diamond gobi in june and after the second day, i did not see him in the tank anymore, a few days later, i found him behind the tank all dried up. (my tank has a cover and there are only small cracks near the skimmer, filter hoses, etc.)
the gobi must have jumped out..
2 weeks ago, i attempted to add another diamond gobi, and again, i could not find hm after the second day in the tank, and again i found him all dried up behind the tank...
WHY ARE THESE GUYS JUMPING OUT?
CAN ANYONE HELP ME?
the reason i wanted the gobies, is because they filter the crished coral. is there any other fiash that i can get which would help clean my crushed coral effectively?

Most gobies will cut up thier insides if they sift through cc. They may be hurting themselves and then running from the tank.
