Why do my shrimp all stay in the same place?

I have 2 skunk cleaners and they stay in the same exact place everyday. They are on an underhang and all 3 of my fish seem to hang out with them. Why do they not venture out more. When I get more fish will they come out more?

That's what thwey do - they pick out an area in the tank to set up a "cleaning station" and tap their claws together advertising "open for business". this lets any fish having ick problems know where to go to get servied (cleaner shrimp eat parasites for dinner)
