I Have A 12g Aquapod I Was Wondering If There Is Anything To Do To Stop The Condesation On The Light Lid. When I Open The Ig Lid Water Goes Running Down The Lid Out The Back. Is This Something That Just Happens...... Thanks

yeah it just happens most of it drips back into the tank when the lid is closed there is pretty much nothing you can do about it, the upside is the condensation dripping back in is actually lowering the amount you lose to evaporation.

just pondering as i run open tops on 100+gal tanks and never nano'd, but....
you could have a little exhaust hole and a little air inlet hole. run a cheap air pump into it to run over the lighting area.
the downside would be the noise of the pump and topping off more often. i'm not sure how bad the calc/salt buildup would be on your top also? how often do you have to top off a nano anyways though.
the upside would be the condensation. this would allow additional light getting through to the reef. faster growth and better viewing. IF kept clean.
interesting experiment

Are there any openings? I have had smaller tanks, and never had it actually run all over the place. It should not be completely sealed. You do want some natural air flow or your water (no mater how many powerheads you run) will become sort of stagnant over time.

verry good point sep, i missed that.
if you look up the nitrogen cycle you will see that surface agitation is an essential part of saltwater. i was just thinking about condensation in my answer. with this surface agitation comes trouble in a nano, i'm not the person to ask. i use big waves and no lids.
