Okay i have a 92 gallon bow front. The tank ended its cycle yesterday. Tank was cycled with 140lbs LR. I also have 4-5inch layer of southdown in there. Yesterday my trates were 25ppm trites were 0. alk/kh was 5.60/15.7. I did a 25% water change. today here are my parameters (salifert tests)
Temp 78.6
SG 1.025
ammonia 0
nitrites 0
nitrates 10ppm
ph 7.7
calcium 330
alk/kh 5.60 15.7 I ran this test twice.
Wny would my alk kh levels be so high. I also noticed that my water was a bit cloudy which it was not yesterday. Anyway any help is appreciated.

what kind of water are you using? If you are using tap water.then it proabalby has a high KH from the get go, and when you add your salt that will jump it up even more. I know my tap water here in texas has an extremly high kh. small frequent water changes with RO water is going to be the best way to fix that problem.
