Why is my bannerfish picking on my blue tang? i thought they where peacefull fish?

looks like hes being a bully????? he is the biggest one in the tank could that be it? i hope he stops!!!!

i caught him kind of bumping into the tang with his mouth like he dose to the live rock, thats the best way i can explain what hes doing.

Just observe it and monitor for now. If it's the largest fish, it's probably being a bully.
Is one a newer addition?

I added the bannerfish about 4 days after the tang.

Is he breaking skin or is it just bumping and tail flapping? How large are each?
Sometimes bumping up feedings can cut down on aggression.
If they were both just added, they might just be duking it out over who's going to be top dog in the tank.

just bumping. the tang is about 3 and half inches and bannerfish is 4 and a half inches.
