Why Is My Flame Hawk Losing Color?!

I went into the living room this evening after the lights had been off for around an hour and saw my Flame Hawkfish almost white.....it seems that he loses his color when I turn the lights off, however, after the light had been on for around 5 minutes, he was back to his original bright red/orange. Does anybody know why the Flame Hawk does this, and if it is good or bad?

my fish also lose their color when the lights are off, and so do everyone elses. From previous posts i learned that this is what they do for protection. They lose their bright color b/c at night they slow down and tend to stay in the same place. So they just lose color to be less visible to predators. Nothing to worry about.
