Why is my skimmate this green?

I've been getting a really green skimmate the last few days... What's sup with this? Usually it's a dull green/brown. Lately it's this color...

What's sup with that?

Did you add some light under there? Looks like algae is blooming in the cup, perhaps.

awesome. im culturing phyto in my skimmate cup now. lol

Ever figure out what is causing it? Did you add any additives or anything... like iron or some kind of supplement?
Are you still having this happen? I see this was a few days ago. What's it doing now?

You should totally try using that as a starter culture and culture your own phyto.

lol,... I don't even have this skimmer up and running anymore. Never mind the phyto culture. It was definitely interesting to see that. I can only guess that it was phyto.... I should have taken a sample and put it under the colleges microscope and taken some pics to ID it. But, without a sample, I'm at a loss.
