why is this skimmer so cheap

i was lookin at skimmers and came across this one. Pacific Coast PS-3000 Protein Skimmer Needlewheel. It say that it can handle up to a 475 gallon tank and its only 250 dollars for everything. are these skimmers complete garbage?

Nothings wrong with it. Its actually the EXACT same skimmer as the old model Octopus NW-200 (before the octopus went to funnel neck). People actually prefer that skimmer to the new (funnel neck) Octopus NW-200 for modding. Its actually $20-30 more than the Ocotpus NW-200. It cant handle anywhere near 475g. the octopus is rated at 260g but I always use Euro-reef sizing for a realistic rating and they rate the exact size skimmer (ER RS-180) at 180g medium load which is a realistic rating. there are a few cheap mods that really make the NW200/PS3000 perform.
