Why Was It Deleted?

This is for my own education. The thread started by a supposed new member asking about the amount of spam on this site and whether all the information given can be trusted, was suddenly deleted. I know they were kind of strange questions so for my own information was that spam also?

Arn, I am almost positive it was spam. The person has not viewed any other threads since signing up, and most times, when you see things like, "I am new to the site www.saltwaterfish.com" you can usually mark it as spam. Like spam bots like to use the little paper icon on their messages (the one I posted above my post).

Thanks Lion .... I thought the questions were a little strange. Hey, but I did say the mods do a good job at deleteing spam!

That was absolutely positively a spam thread. They are getting very very creative.
I would report anything you see like that, and never, ever click on the link...even if it looks like it is this site!
