oh ahaha sorry! im just wondering if they have specific needs. my nitrates are a little high but not high enough to affect the corals. i have a frogspawn, colt coral, purple hairy mushrooms, clove polyps and some others that are all doing fine. the zoas i have now are in the left corner of my tank with low flow and medium lighting. i have 200 wat lighting. i drip acclimated them.

this is just me but i have mine about 8 inches from the top of a 36 g corner with a 150 w mh with med to high flow and mine are spreading like crazy and open wide ..when you say 200 watts what kind of light do you have to have 200 watts?

maybe you have some sort of parasite, or something in your tank is eating/bothering them, like a crab/shrimp/fish...

I would recommend against drip acclimating. Next time you get zoas place them in a cup with 50/50 kent's iodine and to tank temp freshwater for 3 minutes them shake them off well and place them in a low/med light area of your tank with medium flow. Only buy zoas that are all open.
If you have LPS and other zoas that are doing fine then your tank parameters are probably OK.
Do you have a dwarf angel or anything that may be pecking/irritating them? Keep an eye out for zoanthid eating nudis and/or sundial snails.
