wich asm skimmer model?

for my 75 gallon reef tank i have a 40 gal sump/fuge and i was wondring what model of asm skimmer i should get...........asmgx1 or the asmg2?

I would say a G2 or even better a G3, if you have the money.

but the g3 is rated for a 180 gallon i only have a 75? why g3?

G3 has more skimming power. Is your tank heavily stocked? If it is, then go with the G3, if it is lightly to normaly stocked, then the G2 will do.
