Wide or Tall

I'd go wide. More room for aquascaping and less intense lighting needed to penetrate to the lower areas of the tank. JMO

I agree and will order the tank later today.
Now comes the fun part of tearing down and moving my existing tank.....

I prefer wide......I don't think lighting really gets any cheaper regardless of what you go with; with those dimensions......As far as the extra width easier for aquascaping......
Well you never have enough room....I thought my 48" was wide....Well after starting the rock work I wish I had another 12".....Just never enough......

Thats crazy!! But I like it... A lot.

Wide. I have a 30" tall tank and let me tell you...it's a pain to reach the bottom. The tall tanks have a lot of visual appeal (I do love mine) but for ease of maintenance....go wide.

Just never enough is right. I would go wide hands down
