Mine have done this occationally, one will come out of the colony and go up to the top of the aquarium, then when the lights go on it comes back down and takes a place back on the rock with the rest of them. If I don't snatch him out and sell/trade him like I've done many times before.
Just check everything, give it all the once over, test scores, temp, water movement, filters..etc...
