wierd clownfish behavior?

ok my cousin doesnt have a comp so he asked me he has a LT anenoome with a gols stripe maroon hosting it the gsm took a tentacle OFF of the anenome and ate it he said and then spit it out? is this weird?

Sometimes clowns do bite anemones. Usually when they are shrivled and they want them to be huge/inflated for better protection. If the clown was big enough it surely could bite off a tentacle.. it could happen but thats not saying its at all a good thing to happen. As long as he is caring for the anemone as he should then it will have no problem recovering.

ok! bc hes new to SWF and this is his 1st SW fish tank the maroon is about 4inches! and the anenome is HUGE!
