PS3 - More options, Great graphics!, Hi-Def DVD Player,....
I have a Wii, though, and like it a lot! I find myself playing the Wii Sport's CD when I do play it..

I have a wii and a 360, the wii is fun, but i also find myself playing wii sports more than zelda, and mario galaxy.
I Love my 360 more though, i am 20 and like the more adult style games of the 360. There are no realistic 1st person shooters for wii, most of their games are kid friendly, which is great, just not for me. plus, Call Of Duty 4 is on 360!
My friend has a ps3 and really wished that he would have gotten a 360.

What makes Xbox 360 stand out is Xbox Live for such games as COD4 and other first person shooters!!!

PS3 has online for all their 1st person shooters too, and its free....

PS3 is a complete entertainment center, HI Def Blu Ray etc etc... its price is IMO justified with what it gives you. Looking at it as a stand alone gaming console is selling very short. FYI as far as gaming is concerned they have yet to tap the full capabilities of this system. The software companies are just now starting to realize the potential this system has. Hence the delay of a lot of games, SOCOM being one of them. I have always been a PS fan but with the war of high def being over, XBOX crashed and burned miserably. Now they are looking at Sony for an add on Blu Ray player for their systems... D'hoh...
The Wii, well its Nintendo, nuff said... family oriented, fun for all, cartoonish based games for the most part. I would have one to entertain my kids but thats about it.
JMO.....

There are as many people on XBL just playing Halo 3 as the are on Playstation Network total. LOL how in the world is the death of HDDVD Microsoft's fault? Samsung and Toshiba were the one's behind HDDVD, not Microsoft.

I never said it was their fault that it didnt prevail. What I did say was that they choose to include it in their systems, which is now obsolete. Kinda like buying a convertable and finding out that you cant put the top down.

Not really, they choose to add on an extra, stand alone HD drive for $199. Which was a bargain compared to any high-def dvd players. All they have to now is add a standalone Blue-Ray player for $199. It's more like Xbox offered a convertible, but the laws changes so you can't have one. But now you can have a Targa roof instead...
I would say most of PS3's sale were because a PS3 was the cheapest Blue-Ray out for awhile. That's why my buddy got one, (well Blue-Ray and maybe, one day, when Gran Turismo 5 is released. Some time far, far, away)...

I have a Wii, but this fall i will either buy a 360 or PS3. While i enjoy the different games and action type modes (swinging your arms around to swing a gold club) i miss the realism that you get in the 360 or PS3. I also can't wait for newer games to come out. I remember when PS2 first came out, hockey and football looked like total crap compared to what it looks like now. So just imagine in a year how MORE realistic the games will be for PS3 (b/c of the software).

I have a wii, ps2 , 3DO,N64,snes,sega genesis, Intellivision, pong. My kids play the crap out of the Wii. Between Brawl, galaxy, kart..... I barley have time to bowl (Wii sports). The Wii is great for kids. The 360, if you havent heard has a 33% failure rate (red circle of death). When the price drops, Im going with the ps3, 80g, backwards compatiable.......for me.

If I did not love live then ps3 but the ps3 live is HORRIBLE! Ps3 is a better system but 360 has ALOT better live play

i would go with a 360 if your going for live (the only way i play since i got it), but a ps3 if your playing more with yourself and friends when they come over.
