I WENT OUT THE ALANTIC OCEAN AND CAUGHT A BUNCH OF HERMITS AND CLAMS I PUT LIKE THIRTY HERMITS IN MY TANK AND THEY STARTED KILLING EACHOTHER SHOULD I GET RID OF THEM OR LET THE STRONGEST SURVIVE. CAN I ADD MUD TO THE TOP OF MY CRUSDED CORAL FOR THE CLAMS

Wild caught hermits can be a big problem. Some get super big and can destroy everything in your tank including fish.
On the other hand some hermits are perfectly safe to keep.
You need to fully understand what type of hermits you now have before making a decision on what to do with them.

I got some wild hermits as well and they cleaned my live rock very well. Never bothered my fish. Just every once in a while my triger fish eats one. Just have plenty of shells for them to change in to.

You may be able to put the mud on your crushed coral. But what part of the Atlantic. If you are up north I would not do it....Also those hermits will get large if you have shells in the tank for them to switch into. Otherwise they will eventually will weed themselves out fighting for the "biggest shell". I used to keep them as a boy on Cape Cod...but they never lived long...I would be careful about mixing things that are not from a reef environment...Hope this helps.....
