if it dies defenently take it out. Im not sure if it will poisin the tank(i think it would), but if a fish dies you should probly take it out so you dont risk poluting the water.

just a little bit of trivia:
Poison and venom are two different things.
Fox face is venomous, not poisonous.
I was surprised when I was told this too ^_^
but knowing is half the battle
Oh and do take him out. Always good practice to take as much load off the CuC.
Even if it wasn't a Fox face, Id still pull it out if it died.
Maybe you can set up a hospital tank and treat whatever is killing him.
if death is imminent, just take it out now. u risk not finding it later if it does die. if u hv a big enough tank and enough clean up crew, a dying fish shouldnt be an issue. but given a choice, take it out.

However remember a foxface is a good faker. They look all dull and float nose down when troubled. Make sure nothing is bothering it.
A QT will help so you are not left to assume it wll die anyway, and you can medicate it and keep an eye on it just to be sure.
