Hi All:
I have a Purple LTA and a False Percula. I've had the Clown for just about a year and the lta for about 4 months. I have a drilled 90,so the plastic overflow extends to the bottom of the tank as you know. Unfortunately, my clown has chosen to sleep in the corner made where the bottom left side of the overflow touches the glass in the back of the tank. I realized after the fact that the False Percula doesn't go in the LTA in nature so had given up on him ever hosting it.
I originally put the LTA in the right front of my tank. For some reason, after some weeks, my Flame Angel began pecking at him near the mouth. I think he was trying to get food or waste that was coming out of the anemone. Anyway, the anemone moved after staying there for a couple months and I think that is why. He first moved to a cave, and I was worried that he wouldn't get enough light. He stayed there about three days and then moved out to the side of the tank, then he moved to the back near the Clown, and yesterday when I got home he was right where the clown sleeps at night. I had my hopes up when I saw that, and sure enough, when I got up this morning, the clown was in the anemone. I called my wife around 2:00pm and she told me he is still in there and the lights are on. I just wish they weren't in the back of the tank now, LOL.
It's really tight back there too, and hopefully they will both move back toward the front.
So, I was wondering if it's possible that the anemone knew the clown was around, or was it just blind luck?
