i just got a condy anenome today. i currently have 6 dwarf hermits, a cleaner shrimp and a sand sifting star a maroon clown, and a coral beauty angel. i was just wondering if he will harm my inverts.
thanks.
i dont think they will only because my condi never has, and i watched one of my emerald crabs get stuck on my carpet the other day, he struggled and finally got loose, the carpet could have had him if he wanted. but thats just my expierences, best of luck to ya todd
it moves to the substrate, and i notice my shrimp goes on it and cleans it, and my sand sifting star crawls through or over its tentacles, is that bad for the star?
Generally they are not a threat to inverts like shrimp, snails, etc. The trick is keeping them in a coral tank, as they can move and sting other corals or anemones. That is when the wars can start.
what steps are there so i can ensure it wont do any harm in the future? i plan on adding corals and perhaps a bubble tip anenome, as well as more inverts. for th epast few days, it has nestled itself into a crevice in my rocks and seems pretty snug in there.
There is no way to ensure it, which is why some coral people will not keep anemones. They can up and move at any time, and sting other anemones/corals in their path.
