If I hear that one more time I'm going to scream. Seriously... docs... you make enough to get a secretary to take the phone calls as they come in. I hate waiting for peeps to call me back. AND WTF! They had an live answering service (to say they are out to lunch) between 1-2. So I waited an hour to call them back to get a message to leave a message to call me back....... the message machine was out to lunch between 1-2!
If this was a GP or a specialist I was referring myself to... you'd be fired. I have to get in to see this specialist... so I'm stuck.

soooooo I just went through this.....!!! this morning I called my kids doc to ask a question and to make an appointment. Went through the 10 various options of pressing this and that, or press this to skip this message etc. Now I have two issues one is to ask a health question and the other is to make an appt.
NOW, I leave a msg for the nurse. She calls back a few hours later we address the sick kid issue and now I need to make an appt for a physical. "hold on, one minute, I'll get you to her". HAAAAA jokes on me, I got the voicemail of the appt person. One hour later I am still waiting. This practice is NOT huge and they run their appts very well when we are there. I can't give her my cell number, because if I am out, I won't have my calendar with me. I love this doctor. We have been going to him since he started his practice. But this is on the heels of another issue I had with a anwering service policy back in February. My kids are very healthy and we are never having to be there thank goodness. But I am concerned his practice might be suffering because someone else is telling him how to run his business without really knowing the effects TO his business.

Well, I called back to complain and say if they couldn't find someone to answer the phone, I could find someone else to make an appointment with.
He's fired... on to the next doc.
