Will Chalk basslet get big enough to eat my fish?

I heard theyll eat smaller fish? I have two neon gobies and a clown goby. Also, two monkey shrimp. Safe to get one you think or better shy away?

Mine never ate other fish, he just beat everything up. Bassletts in general can become nasty little fellows.

Chalk bass will only pose a threat to any small ornamental shrimp you might have. The grow to a maximum of a little over 3 inches and they are considered an excellent species for reef tanks. It's actually a rather shy fish and requires plenty of hiding spaces.
P.S. I have a Clown Goby and he picks on my Copperband Buttferfly which is about 20 times his size. I think the Clown Goby can protect itself. It's also known to have a terrible tasting mucous coat that prevents prey from eating them.

I'm assuming he means the Chalk Bass and not a basslet (aka Gramma). Though I do not believe Grammas to be aggresive towards other fish either.
