Will Coral Banded Shrip Eat Amphipods

I have a coral banded shrimp in my Refugium, and have noticed a decline in my Amphipods. I could be the reduction in my cualulerpa algae due to too many recent water changes, but I was just wondering if i should move the CBS to my DT. My refugium is also on display so i wanted some livestock to enjoy looking at other than crabs, snails, etc.. If the coral banded shrimp is the coulprate, does anyone have any ideas of what beneficial critters or fish that I could put ion there that would be fun to look and not eat the benificial items. I have a live sand bed in the fuge, live rock as well as quality ecoxotic led lighting. Any info would be helpful. Just trying to get my pod growth back up. thanks

CBS will eat pretty much anything they can catch, including other shrimp, pods, bristleworms, fish, etc. They also tend to get really cranky once they get some size on them and become "brave". I kept one for over 8 years, so I know this shrimp pretty well.
How big is your fuge? It's hard to make a recommendation without knowing size limitations...

Yes I understand what you mean I just had one recently die in my display tank that I had had for years and was very large and bold. However, the one that I have now in my fuge is very small and I have only had him for a couple months. My DT is about 30 gal and my fuge is about 10 gal with lots of rock work and a decent sand bed (macroalge had mostly died off). I just bought a hand full of spaghetti algae today to put in there with hopes that it will give the pods additional hiding spots. As I said i do have it set up somewhat as a display fuge so I would like to have at least a few fun things to look at without sacrificing the integrity of the fuge system. I thought about a few cleaner shrimp, clown, or something small. I don't want whatever i put in there that will be counter productive though. thanks for any help or ideas.
